The Racing Bug
Ever since I saw Iron Will I wanted to race my very own dogs, over the years I've had many obstacles I couldn't get over obviously, but now, my leg's not broke, I have a vehicle, I have dog boxes, I have a sled and all the equipment and my dogs, and I'm in Michigan nothing can stop me now. It's a great feeling, some races I'm looking into for the Pack Shack are listed below. |

Atlanta's Clear Lake State Park Race, in January on the 27, 2007
This is close to where we are and will be a really fun because I know where the town is and I can run the trail, etc probably long before the race. |
Luzerne's Lost Creek Sky Ranch, in February on the 10-11, 2007
I know this race is going to be a blast, this is super close to where we're located, I've been to the resturant and everything, it'll be fun, they're really nice people and I know it'll be really interesting.

Baldwin's Wooden Nickel Race in February the 17-18, 2007
If I'm not racing for Thunder Ridge that weekend I'll be entering my team in that race. If I am with Thunder Ridge that weekend I might have Brent run the dogs, he'd have fun and this would be a learning experience for the dogs. They'll have to start listening to him now. LOL. |
Kinross's Kinross Classic race in February on the 24-25, 2007
This race is up in the UP, about two hours away, I think my dogs could use the traveling experience.
